Rider dies after bike slams into parked truck at Gaindakot


A man lost his life after a motorcycle that he was riding on slammed into a parked truck on the roadside of East-West Highway at Gaindakot of Nawalparasi on Monday midnight.

According to police, the deceased is identified as Suresh Bahadur Khatri (44) of Pyuthan, currently residing at Bharatpur of Chitwan.

Critically injured in the midnight accident, Khatri was rushed to a hospital in Bharatpur, where he succumbed to wounds at 3:30 am, police said.

Police have impounded the truck and bike and taken truck driver in custody for investigation.

In a separate incident in Bharatpur, two persons, a biker and a pillion rider, were killed after their motorcycle was hit by a passenger bus on Monday midnight.

19 People Injured In Bus Accident


It is reported from the sources that 19 people were injured when they were travelling by bus in Tulsipur-Dang. The bus hit an accident and three of the passengers are in cititical condition police said.

The accident occurred when the Tulsipur bound bus (Ra 1 Kha 494 ) tired to give side to another vechile from opposite  direction.

The injured passengers are taken for treatment at Rapti Zonal Hospital in Tulsipur.
