Rab ki qawali hai Ishq koi
Dil ki Diwali hai Ishq koi
Mehki si pyaali hai Ishq koi
Subah ki laali hai Ishq….
Girta sa jharna hai Ishq koi
Uthta sa kalma hai Ishq koi
Saanson mein lipta hai ishq koi
Aankhon mein dikhta hai Ishq

Mere dil ko tu jaan se juda kar de
Yun bas tu mujhko fanaa kar de
Mera haal tu, meri chaal tu
Bas kar aashiqana

Tere waaste mera Ishq Sufiyana
Mera Ishq Sufiyana
Mera Ishq Sufiyana (x2)

Rab ki qawali hai Ishq koi
Dil ki Diwali hai Ishq koi
Mehki si pyaali hai Ishq koi
Subah ki laali hai Ishq….

Sochu tujhe toh hai subah
Sochu tujhe toh shaam hai

Ho o manzilon pe ab toh meri ek hi tera naam hai
Tere aag me hi jalte, koyle se heera bante
Khwaabon mein aagey chalte hain tujhe batana

Tere waaste mera Ishq Sufiyana
Mera Ishq Sufiyana
Mera Ishq Sufiyana (x2)

Saath-saath chalte-chalte haath chhoot jayenge
Aisi raahon mein milo naa
Baatein-baatein karte-karte raat kat jaayegi
Aisi raaton mein milo naa

Kya hum hain, kya Rab hai
Jahaan tu hai wahin sab hai
Tere lab mile mere lab khile
Ab door kya hai jaana

Tere waaste mera Ishq Sufiyana
Mera Ishq Sufiyana
Mera Ishq Sufiyana

Tere waaste mera Ishq Sufiyana
Mera Ishq Sufiyana
Mera Ishq Sufiyana

Rab ki qawali hai Ishq koi
Dil ki Diwali hai Ishq koi
Mehki si pyaali hai Ishq koi
Subah ki laali hai Ishq….

Mere dil ko tu jaan se juda kar de
Yun bas tu mujhko fanaa kar de
Mera haal tu, meri chaal tu
Bas kar aashiqana

Tere waaste mera Ishq Sufiyana
Mera Ishq Sufiyana
Mera Ishq Sufiyana(x2)

The film is directed by Srijit Mukherji who directed the critically acclaimed Bengali film Rajkahini on which Begum Jaan is based. Produced by Vishesh Films, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on 14th April.

The first thing you notice about the new trailer of Begum Jaan is the impressive ensemble cast: From Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah, Rajit Kapur, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vivek Mushran, Chunky Pandey and Ila Arun to Gauahar Khan and Pallavi Sharda. The second? Their stirring performance.
Begum Jaan aka hookah-smoking Vidya owns it as the bold owner of a brothel in the period drama: Complete with ample cleavage and statement unibrow. While all actors look impressive in their parts, it is actor Chunky Pandey who looks strikingly different.

The trailer begins with veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan’s voice-over explaining the premise of the film: It is set during the partition era when India and Pakistan are drawing their borders.

Unfortunately, Vidya’s brothel falls right at the border and is to be divided in such a way that half of it falls in India and the other half in Pakistan. The inhabitants are warned by the administrators to vacate the premises, but because they refuse, it leads to tragic and violent consequences.
