Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha revealed the first trailer of her much-awaited film, Noor on Tuesday afternoon.The first trailer of Sonakshi Sinha’s Noor is out and the actor is super-energetic as a journalist in the film The film is the Bollywood adaptation of the 2014 Pakistani novel by journalist-writer Saba Imtiaz, Karachi, You’re Killing Me!
The life of a journalist is not that easy. And Sonakshi Sinha is here to prove that to you. The actress plays the role of a journalist in her forthcoming flick ‘Noor’, which is helmed by Sunhil Sippy.
The trailer of ‘Noor’ starts off with Sonakshi as a happy-go-lucky 20-something girl in Mumbai – one who is struggling with her love life as much as she is with her weight issues. Her job as a journalist and the responsibilities that come with it don’t figure high on her priority list. However, things take a dramatic turn and she realises that it’s time to take charge of her life and undo the mistakes she has made.
Popular comedian Kanan Gill is making his debut with this film. Shibani Dandekar and Purab Kohli will be seen in pivotal roles too. The film is based on the novel ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me!’
During the trailer launch, Sonakshi Sinha said, “Noor is really close to my heart. When the story was narrated to me, the script and the character strongly appealed to me and from the first day of shoot till now, it has been such a fun and amazing movie to be a part of. It feels great to start 2017 with Noor.”
With Noor, it seems, Sonakshi is taking a step ahead in that direction. Noor releases on April 21. Directed by Sanhil Sippy, the film stars Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar, Purab Kohli in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on April 21.
