Work Stress

We all have been in a situation where we are extremely busy and we can’t handle the pressure of work load. While some stress a normal, excessive stress can hamper physical and mental state.  There might be various reasons for stress at work. Some of the various reasons are:

  • Lack of support
  • Lack of training and motivation
  • Low Income
  • Work overload
  • Intense competition
  • Unfavorable surrounding
  • Few opportunities for growth

Well these were some of the reason for work stress. The long term stress can be serious problem for our health. Some of the remedies to control stress are:

  • Keep journal of your stress related activities
  • Talk to a friend about your stress
  • Take a break from work
  • Develop healthy responses
  • Talk to a supervisor
  • Learn how to relax
  • Create a balanced schedule about work
  • Develop the capacity to cope with challenges at work
  • Resolve conflict positively
  • Cultivate a friendly social climate
  • Eat right and sleep well
